Every Portrait Tells a Story...

The Rose
A mother came to me with her two-year-old daughter for portraits. The girl was very active and not interested in sitting still. We brainstormed which things that would hold the girl's interest. In this portrait with the rose we told her there were ladybugs inside and could she find them? In the classic portrait, the little girl removed plums from the birdbath. In the last portrait she felt most at home with her beloved blanky. She enjoyed the portrait experience as much as we did, as it was a big adventure in exploration.
